Door stickers. Installation manual and videos
- Clean your door/wall or other surface. Be sure it is smooth, dry and free of dust and dirt. Any kind of door material is suitable.
- Remove the door handle.
- Measure the internal door.
- Unpack and spread out the graphic sheet on a flat surface.
- Cut the graphic sheet to size if you need.
- Start from a corner and gently roll the white backing from the transfer sheet. Make sure that none of the sticker pieces is left on the backing paper.
- Face the self-adhesive side of the sticker down on the location that you desire and apply even, firm pressure to ensure complete removal of any bubbles.
- Bubbling may occur after the graphics are applied. Simply take a thumbtack or needle and poke the bubbled area a couple of times, then smooth it out with your hands.
- Put the handle back on.

Finally, after waiting weeks for the U.S Post Office to deliver my 221 B Baker Street door sticker, my wife and I installed it on the door to my home office. Now, I've been a fan of the A.C. Doyle stories and novels about his fictional detective since I was a child, and have seen nearly every film and television program ever made. I'm especially fond of the new BBC contemporary re-boot of the stories, so I was really looking forward to having this choice bit of decor. Well, it is fabulous. The directions are clearly written, and are easy to follow. All you need is a little patience, and having someone to work with makes it much easier. The vinyl is flexible, and will adhere to a relatively smooth, clean surface. It's thin, so you have to be careful not to nick it with any sharp tools. For extra effect, I replaced our modern, steel door-lever with a brass, antique-looking one. Now, when you look down the hallway, you see what looks astonishingly like the front door to that fabled address, 221B. Baker Street, London, and would be forgiven for expecting, for a moment, to to have your knock answered by Mrs. Hudson.
